Ohio Tourism Leadership Academy
OTA is committed to investing in the future of our industry. In 2008, the Ohio Travel Association created the Ohio Tourism Leadership Academy. The putpose of the Academy is to foster the development of future leaders of the Ohio tourism industry. Participants will be directly exposed to the people that lead Ohio's tourism industy. They will learn about the organizations that represent the tourism industry. They will visit the Statehouse and the offices of key Ohio lawmakers. Throughout the year-long process, partipicants will discuss leadership and what it means to become an effictive board member.

OTA's Bill Schwartz Memorial Scholarship
OTA wants to ensure the growth and success of the travel and tourism industry. That is why the OTA Scholarship Fund was created. The mission of the Scholarship Program is to provide financial support to Ohio students pursuing a career in travel and tourism and promote professionalism and excellence within the industry.

OTA has a special rate for travel and tourism students at its annual Conference on Tourism to allow them to network with industry professionals and gain real-world insights into their field of study.

Ohio Hospitality Coalition PAC
The Ohio Travel Association is a member of the Ohio Hospitality Coalition Political Action Committee (OHPAC) along with the Ohio Restaurant Association. Together, we work with the state legislature to provide the best business environment for those in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry.

We compete with many other interest groups for the attention of legislators. The Coalition's Political Action Committee (PAC) helps ensure we can compete with those other groups.
